I know it — because I lived inside it for years.
I was once offered a promotion at work. A step up the ladder, they said. A pay rise. And they were right — I'd have been good at it.
But it would have taken me one step away from the work I actually loved.
I turned it down. And then spent weeks feeling guilty about it — because I'd spent a lifetime learning to meet other people's expectations before my own.
I didn’t share that story for years. I thought no one would understand.
And then the pandemic happened.
Something shifted in my conversations with my clients. People began saying things they'd never admitted before — in hushed tones, almost embarrassed.
That the job they were terrified of losing, they'd never actually enjoyed.
That the work-life balance they'd been chasing meant two hours commuting every day — when what they actually wanted was simply to be home. To pick the kids up from school. To have more life and less work.
The career wasn't the most important thing after all.
Again and again, when I asked people what they wanted to achieve from their sessions with me, they would sigh deeply and say:
"Caroline, I just want to enjoy my life."
And I realised — this wasn't just me.
This was so many of us. Building lives around other people's expectations, achieving things we thought we were supposed to want, and wondering why it still didn't feel like enough.
But that realisation came with its own set of problems.
If I wasn't enjoying my life — if I'd got it so wrong — then surely I needed to make big, scary changes. Turn everything upside down. Start again.
And that felt impossible. So I stayed stuck.
What I began to discover was something I now share with every client I work with.
Many of the changes that make the biggest difference are ones you make on the inside.
Simple mindset shifts. Reprogramming the belief systems that have been quietly running the show. Learning to set boundaries with grace and intention rather than guilt and anger.
Small shifts that begin to create big changes.

Masterclasses and workshops begin at just £27.
I offer a free discovery call for anyone considering 1-to-1 sessions to see if we’re the right fit.
Individual 1-hour sessions are available at £97 on a pay-as-you-go basis, or you can save by purchasing a bundle of six sessions for £520 (a saving of £62).
For ongoing support throughout the year, I provide a seasonal package of four 90-minute sessions annually for £45 per month via direct debit.
Existing clients can book a one-off 90-minute reset session for £140.

From a young age, I was guided by a strong intuition to seek out environments that felt right for me.
This instinct led me away from traditional office jobs and towards roles where I could flourish and help others do the same, including Veterinary Nurse, Dog Training Instructor, Charity Worker, Therapist, and Artist.
Along the way, I built a reputation for working effectively with those often seen as “lost causes”, whether that was animals or people.
I found myself with a reputation for finding creative solutions where others thought none existed.
Rather than working to “fix” someone, I worked to understand the individual and find a way for them to flourish in their own way.

My Experience
I qualified from the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy Training School (CPHT), one of the leading schools in the UK, in 2013, and am qualified at HPD level.
I have over 12 years of experience in my full time therapy practice with thousands of hours of supporting my clients with their mental wellbeing.
During those years I have also lectured with the Clifton Practice Hypnotherapy School, supervised trained hypnotherapists, and provided ongoing continual professional development training.
I have continued my own training in neuroscience, hypnotherapy and coaching to provide the best approaches to help my clients move forward.
